I think it's strange that the stance anyone takes on ANWAR is that it will be years before we realize any oil from drilling there. One thing is certain, if we wait it will always be years before we get oil from there.
Gas prices have dropped a little bit so the argument is not as prominent as it was a couple of months ago. I just don't like knowing that next time gas prices as skyrocketing someone is going to tell me it will be years before we can affect it. If we drill now while the prices are dropping a little bit they will lower, and then lower again when we get oil from the site.
This sounds like a win/win situation to me, and that's what I think.
